In the years following the devastating Twilight Wars, the ethnicities of the old Imperium Lazax retreated to their home worlds, ushering in a period of precarious peace. Now the galaxy is once again in turmoil and the Great Races have returned to peer into the depths of space beyond their borders: Mecatol Rex, the jewel of galactic civilization, awaits those who will be bold enough to claim the title of Emperor. Who will step forward to claim the throne?

During a game a Twilight Imperium, players bargain, scheme and wage war on each other to complete certain objectives. The first player to accumulate 10 victory points claims the Imperial Throne and wins the game.
