Mazinger Z, the very first and iconic Japanese super robot manga that has captivated audiences around the world for over five decades. Created by manga legend Go Nagai in 1972, this groundbreaking series introduced the world to a new kind of hero: a giant piloted robot with the power to save the world. Today, Mazinger Z remains as popular as ever, we celebrate its 50th anniversary with a redesign from the one and only Josh Nizzi, bringing another dark, gritty and sinister feel to the robot.

This Ultimate Diorama Masterline Series brings to life a victorious 27-inch tall Mazinger Z, standing over the corpse of his first manga nemesis, Garada K7. Japan's first super robot rests his right arm on his sword, his left hand pulls his head out of the enemy's torso. The defeated Garada K7, desperately trying to pull back what's left of the mechanical threads that prevent his head from being completely detached from his body with his left hand. Similar to our other collaborations with Josh Nizzi, the Prime 1 artists have paid close attention to detail and used their expertise to give Mazinger Z an intricate and realistic look. Every mechanical part and wire add to the complexity of the piece. The dark and metallic colors come together beautifully, sure to make any fan lose sight of every inch of the statue. LED light-up features are located at the heroic robot's head, chest fire at the villain's chest and eyes. The chest plate can also be closed in case you want to turn off the Breast Fire LEDs.

The Deluxe version gives you more options in storytelling by allowing you to swap out your right arm for Mazinger's Rocket Punch arm, which has also been fitted with LEDs as the arm charges up for the blast. We've also included an impressive pair of metallic crimson wings that add a full inch of width to the statue.
