The Spice and Wolf novel began serialization on the Dengeki Bunko imprint fifteen years ago, and has been popular ever since. Its heroine, the wise wolf Holo, has been transformed into a figure wearing a white kimono, the traditional Japanese wedding dress.

The illustration on which it is based was recently drawn by Jyuu Ayakura, the creator of the illustrations that adorn the original novel. Holo fans just have to see her in a bridal kimono as she smiles innocently! The pattern of the kimono fabric was modeled on the kimono parts, while the uchikake dress was painted in pure pearl white.
