The Twelve Zodiac Animals Animal Head Full-Body Statue is a collection of bronze fountains in the shape of Chinese zodiac animals that were part of a water clock fountain in front of the Haiyantang Building (Chinese: ???) of Xiyang Lou (Western-style villas) area of ​​Yuanmingyuan in Beijing. Supposedly designed by Giuseppe Castiglione for the Qianlong Emperor, the statues spouted water from their mouths to tell the time.

The animal head of the twelve zodiac animals was among the treasures looted during the destruction of the Yuanmingyuan by the British and French armies in 1860 during the Second Opium War. Since then, they have been among the most visible examples of attempts to repatriate Chinese art and cultural artifacts.
