On the remote planet Arvala-7, a rocky, barren desert world, Grogu, a cub of the same species as the late Jedi Master Yoda, is found in a mercenary camp, being held hostage. He is targeted by the relentless droid IG-11, who was designed to follow the protocols of the Bounty Hunters Guild, with a mission to eliminate the child. Destroyed and deactivated by the Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin, better known as Mando, IG-11 was repaired and reprogrammed by farmer Kuiil to protect Grogu, thus becoming the child's guardian and Mando's ally.

After rescuing Grogu from two Imperial scout troopers on a mission to the planet Nevarro, IG-11 departed for the local city to rescue Mando and his comrades, who were trapped in a mess hall by Moff Gideon's Imperial troops. Riding one of Scout's downed Speeder Bikes and with his new duty to care and protect, IG-11 keeps Grogu secure in a bag strapped to his chest as he closes in on enemies, mounted on the fast floating vehicle, as seen in the series, Chapter 8: Redemption, from Season 1.

Like a fearless gunslinger of the wild west, sweeping through town and eliminating evildoers, IG-11, mounted on a Speeder Bike, invades the town of Nevarro, thus kicking up a cloud of smoke and dust as it passes. He fires his blaster rifles, taking out any Imperial Stormtrooper soldiers that stand in his way, while protecting baby Grogu, who is attached to his chest, inside a pouch like a kangaroo. The innocent Baby Yoda is even enjoying the situation.
