Set on Mars, 50 years after the events of the first Red Faction, Red Faction: Guerrilla puts the player in the role of a revolutionary fighter of the re-established Red Faction movement: Alec Mason.

The armed resistance Red Faction is the only hope left for humanity to free itself from the oppression of the Earth Defense Force.

Red Faction: Guerrilla redefines the limits and the horizon of the genre thanks to an open world setting where frenetic gameplay is located and destruction is dictated by solid physical foundations.

Characteristics:

• Open World Guerilla – Decide who, when and where to battle. Use guerrilla tactics, improvised weapons and modified vehicles to reach and destroy EDF targets. Launch attacks based on your fighting style, choose in which order to face the missions to free Mars from the EDF.
• Strategic Destruction – Use destruction as a means of tactical advantage, set up ambushes or chain explosions to destroy enemy bases and permanently change the game environment. Make the most of the dynamic and physical gameplay to improvise: destroy a wall, floor or staircase to slow down the enemies on your heels.
• An Evolving Story – Choose your own path as you navigate an ever-changing environment, hone your tactical skills along the way by mixing combat styles, vehicles and explosives to defeat the EDF.
• Epic Sci-Fi Setting – Explore the immense and unforgettable Martian landscape, from the desolate outpost of Parket to the glittering capital of the EDF, the city of Eos. Fight your way through fully destructible environments through swarms of EDF forces, Red Faction resistance fighters and downtrodden settlers.
