The pack includes the Monster Hunter Rise base game + the Sunbreak expansion, which includes gameplay improvements and additional combat mechanics, new monsters and hunting areas, new armor and weapons, and a new difficulty level with master rank missions.

Kamura village has finally found peace, after repelling the onslaught of violent monster attacks, known as rampage.

This hard-won peace is shattered by the unexpected arrival of Lunagaron, a wolf-like monster, in the Sacred Ruins.

Here the hunter meets Fiorayne, knight of the Order. Fiorayne enlists the hunter's help to find out why the monsters of the kingdom are becoming so violent and aggressive, also invading other territories, including Kamura's. Joined together for this mission, the two set out for the distant outpost of Elgado.
