"Where legends are born" is the slogan that accompanies the return of PES, with new features, modes and an unprecedented gaming experience. This year's release represents the biggest change undertaken by the series in the last decade, with the aim of setting a new quality standard for football games, and raising expectations for the future of the series.

PES 2018 has been overhauled in every aspect, offering a new way to play thanks to a number of gameplay improvements, Online Co-op, Random Match Selection, and a complete overhaul of the game presentation with player models perfectly reproduced from their real counterparts, new menus and real images of the players.

PES 2018 will contain more improvements than any other PES release in the last 10 years, and no aspect of the game has been left out. At the heart of everything remains the famous gameplay that allows users to have full control over the game action, using players who behave, move and react like their real counterparts. The new improvements on the control system will add more fluidity to the game, while the renewed user interface will allow accessing the various options of PES 2018 in an even more intuitive way.

PES 2018 supports the world of eSports thanks to the new integration of PES League in various Online modes, including the new competitive 3v3 mode that will allow users to join forces to win important prizes. This, and having a PC version that matches the quality of the PS4 version, are just some of the big changes that await us in PES 2018.

1. PLAYABILITY AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL – The renowned gameplay quality has been further refined and balanced to recreate the authenticity of this wonderful sport, including a more realistic game speed. Strategic Dribbling allows the user to have greater control in the possession phase, with the possibility of better protection of the ball, allowing with the simple use of the stick to obtain realistic and precise movements to deceive the intervention of the defender. Real Touch+ adds a new dimension to ball control, with the ability to manage it with the whole body allowing touches with different areas of the body based on the unpredictable movement of the ball. Set pieces have been revamped with a new free-kick and penalty system, along with the option to choose the new one-player kick-off system.

2. IMPROVED AESTHETICS – New UI for all menus and use of real player images for selection screens and myClub, as well as a new TV-style in-game presentation.

3. INTEGRATION WITH PES LEAGUE – Challenge in PES League with the new modes that include myClub, Random Selection Games and Online co-op.

6. AMAZING VISUAL REALISM – Improved graphics that recreate the authenticity of football, down to the smallest detail thanks to Real Capture. Benefits include realistic stadium lighting management for day and night matches and faithful reproduction of the pitches and dressing room tunnel thanks to the inclusion of over 20,000 data collected at Camp Nou and Signal Iduna Park. The distinctive way in which players move, set up their shot and pass the ball has been reproduced thanks to the motion-capture sessions carried out by KONAMI in realistic environments, to bring new life to all in-game animations. The basic movements such as walking, turning and the posture of the athletes have been further refined, while the models of the players are even more varied and detailed, with an obsessive attention that will be reflected in every aspect: for example, how the game uniforms fit on different physiques or the reproduction of the players' tattoos.
