After The Mountains of Madness and The Color Came from Space, the master Gou Tanabe returns to re-read the Lovecraftian work with a new work based on one of the most famous stories of the master of Providence horror. Nathaniel Wingate Peaslee, a university professor, mysteriously loses consciousness during a lecture, only to come to his senses five years later. But in that period of time "something" took control of his body to carry out mysterious research, while the professor remembers having lived impossible experiences with the appearance of a monstrous being who lived millions of years ago... Is it just a strange case of madness? Or are there creatures capable of projecting their mind beyond time and space?
