NINTENDO WII SPEAK MICROPHONES

Wii Speak allows you to connect and talk to other users through Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, Nintendo's online service that allows Wii and DS owners to play and interact via the internet in an easy, safe and fun way. Wii Speak connects directly to the console and "captures" all conversations that take place in the room; in this way the people present have the opportunity to get involved in the discussion and share the gaming experiences. It's like using the telephone, but with Wii Speak, multiple people in the same room can be in the discussion at the same time.

The new Wii Speak Channel, downloadable from the Wii Shop Channel and subsequently available from the Wii Main Menu, allows up to four console owners to connect to chat or share photos and text messages at no extra cost. Once connected, the Wii Speak Channel engages Miis first-hand, i.e. characters created by the user using the console's Mii Channel. Indeed, when players communicate with each other, the Miis also move their mouths, aligning with the sound picked up by Wii Speak. To communicate with others, you need to share your Friend Code, which makes the experience safe.

In addition to allowing connection through the Wii Speak Channel, Wii Speak also offers new opportunities in games. The first to take full advantage of the accessory is Animal Crossing: let's go to the city, where players can talk to each other in real time, as they meet in the magical world of Animal Crossing via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. In fact, the game is sold both alone and bundled with Wii Speak.
In the future, Wii Speak will be integrated into other Wii games, giving console owners new opportunities to have fun.
