What's the story of Yu-Gi-Ho!?
Yu-Gi-Oh! is a Japanese franchise created by Kazuki Takahashi. The story originated as a manga first published in 1996 in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine. The manga follows the adventures of Yugi Mutou, a young student who solves an ancient Egyptian puzzle called the Millennium Puzzle and bonds with a mysterious spirit. Together, Yugi and the spirit participate in numerous games and challenges, with a particular emphasis on the card game Duel Monsters.
The success of the manga led to the creation of an animated series in 1998, which helped spread the popularity of Yu-Gi-Oh! globally. The animated series has had several incarnations over the years, including Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal, Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V and Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS.
